This is the first part of a guide on how to reset your administrator account`s password on Windows XP ONLY.
Method #1: When you are on the login screen, hit ctrl alt del twice. A window prompting you for your user name and password will pop up. Log in as administrator with no password. This does not always work, if it does, follow these steps: Start>Run>type in cmd> type in net users> net user admin * replacing admin with the name of the account. type in the password twice, you will not be able to see what you`re typing, but don`t worry, it`s working.
